About
One person, one letter at a time.
Tell Me Over Coffee is small on purpose. It is not a platform or a service. It is correspondence.
Most of us have something we haven’t said out loud. Not because it’s shameful, but because saying it changes how people look at us afterwards. A stranger doesn’t carry that weight.
Every letter that arrives here is read by one person. Me. I read it once through, then again slowly, then I write back in my own words. No templates, no scripts, no advice you didn’t ask for.
What this is not
This isn’t therapy, counselling or a crisis line, and I won’t pretend otherwise. I have no clinical training and I can’t diagnose or treat anything. If you need professional care, the support page lists places to start.
Why speaking to a stranger can help
Sometimes it is easier to be honest with someone who is not part of your everyday life. A stranger has no history with you and nothing to protect. There is no judgement here, only space to be real, and you never have to explain everything.
Why the coffee
Because the honest conversations in my life have almost all happened over a cup of something, sitting slightly side by side rather than face to face. That’s the feeling I’m trying to build here.
