What is collected
The letter itself, an optional first name or pen name, an optional country, and an email address used only to deliver a reply.
Who reads it
One person. Letters are never published, sold, or used for advertising or training.
How long it is kept
Intended retention is a short window after a reply is sent, then deletion. You will be able to ask for your letter to be deleted at any time.
Payments
No payment provider is connected yet. When one is, payments will be handled by PayPal (USD) and Yoco (ZAR, including card and Apple Pay). Card details will never be seen or stored here, and payment records will be kept apart from letter bodies and contact details, joined only by an internal identifier. Leaving a cup without writing collects no letter and no reply email.
Security intentions
Letters will be stored privately with restricted access, email identifiers kept separate from letter bodies, and notification emails will never contain letter text.
